Why You Feel Stuck Even Though You’re Doing Everything Right
„Why am I not moving forward?
„Why do I feel stuck even though I am doing so much?“
„Why does everything feel so heavy?“
„What is wrong with me?“
If you are asking yourself these questions and at the same time you are already reflecting, feeling, processing, understanding and working on yourself so much, then the problem is very likely not that you are not doing enough.
But that you are trying to solve something in a way that cannot solve it.
Rumination, overthinking, gripping, self-correcting, not being able to forgive, constantly observing, working on, reframing and wanting to feel everything all come from the same impulse:
You are trying to release a state by focusing on it.
And that is exactly what keeps it active.
Not because you are doing something wrong. But because attention with the intent to solve keeps the system in the problem.
The more intelligent, sensitive and aware you are, the easier it is for you to fall into this loop.
You see more. You feel more. You notice more.
And you oscillate between avoiding your current reality and obsessively searching for a solution to change it.
From a nervous system perspective and also from a manifesting perspective, this reinforces the state instead of ending it.
Not because you are not doing enough. But because the state is not resolved through thinking or feeling alone.
But through a shift of state.
Letting go does not happen through pressure. Not through forcing presence. Not through breathing techniques. Not through more self-work.
Letting go happens when your system shifts into a state that no longer needs the problem.
And the fastest way there is not control, but orientation.
Not toward the problem, but toward what you really want to be, do or have right now.
Not your addictions. Not your fears. But your real, alive desire.
Desire is not lack. It is a regulation signal.
It tells your system: I am allowed to move. I am allowed to want. I am allowed to live.
That is why something seemingly trivial like buying a beautiful bag can be more regulating than the next round of breathwork. And a recurring thought does not have to be reframed, but can be a call to act.
Not every consumption is compensation. Not every mindfulness practice is regulating. Not every negative emotion is a mistake.
Sometimes it is a direction signal.
The way out is to accept yourself as you are now and recognize this version of you as capable, not to wait for a future version.
To become a master at sensing: What do I really want and need right now?
Because what you are chasing is never the object. It is always a state.
And that state can be reached through more paths than your mind currently allows.
Until next time,
M
